Wat Mai Luang Pu Supha
Wat Mai Luang Pu Supha in Chalong is quite a relatively new temple on the island. There are many places in Phuket that makes it popular among travelers. However, the relatively new temple is the most renowned spot in the land. The beautiful and inviting property has been built under the supervision of its founder Luang Pu Supha, probably the most respected and well known in Thailand. In fact, he is the most long lived monks in Thai history, over 110 years old.
Luang Pu Supha has dedicated his life to being a Buddhist monk. He has been spreading the word of dharma in the land for a century and has many disciples that follow his teachings. The Buddhist monk has built almost 40 temples and monasteries all over the country. There are three in Phuket that are quite popular among tourists as well. Radar Hill Viewpoint is one of them.
The view up from the Silsupahram offers a spectacular feature of the bang wad reservoir and the Chalong Bay surrounding islands.
