Karon Viewpoint in Phuket
The Karon Viewpoint is the one of the most frequented in Phuket. It is possible to take views of the Kata Noi, KataYai and Karon beaches. Located between these beaches the viewpoint is busy most of the year which is a staple of the tour itinerates. The local ‘Khao Sam Haad’ is the three beaches hill which is also known as the Karon viewpoint. It is located just south of the Kata Noi Beach that looks directly out to the Andaman Sea. Most people would rather have their cameras trained north at the impressive eight kilometer vista of west coast beaches.
The northern area of the Karon Viewpoint is one of the most photographed in Phuket. The images offer an iconic outlook that features the best of the island. It is the crystal clear waters, white sand exotic beaches, snow white surfing and blue hues of Phuket’s hills. There’s plenty of parking space available at the viewpoint with snack and drinks available at the point. It is about a 10-minute drive from the Kata Beach and down to the Nai Harn. The point is open regularly.
