Pansea Beach
On The Beach Of Pansea
Not too many people have heard of Pansea Beach even though it is practically just beside Surin Beach, and the reason is because it is a private beach owned by two of the most luxurious resorts in the area – the Amanpuri Phuket and The Surin Phuket. As such, the beach is for exclusive use of the resort’s hotel guests, or so it was meant to be. However, there is also a small, steep path that leads to it from Surin Beach so you can still visit the beach, even if it’s just to enjoy its views, which are certainly breathtaking.
Pansea Beach Activities
There is not much to do here on Pansea Beach except for swimming in its turquoise waters, which are especially calm from November to April, and sunbathing. While there are sea kayaks, waterskis and wakeboards for rent, these are usually available only to hotel guests.
Pansea Beach Facilities
The sunbeds and parasols here are for the exclusive use of guests at the Amanpuri and Surin resorts so if you want to have your own spot on the beach, which is long and wide enough, you’ll have to bring your own beach towel to lie down on and your own beach umbrella. Toilet facilities are available at the resorts.
Pansea Beach Restaurants
The only dining establishments here are those that are part of the resorts which total four restaurants, one cafe and two bars. The food here is excellent but the prices are higher than average.
