Ya Nui Beach
On The Beach Of Ya Nui
The beach of Ya Nui is a picturesque little cove overlooked by the famous Phrom Thep Viewpoint. Its golden sands are powdery soft and often littered with beautiful seashells that are washed ashore by the turquoise waters, which are calm most of the year. The beach can be reached from Rawai Beach, Nai Harn Beach or from the northern side of Phrom Thep.
Ya Nui Beach Activities
The waters around Ya Nui are fit for swimming most of the year and if they’re not, you’ll be warned by red flags so keep an eye out for them. Snorkeling is even more popular, though, with snorkeling gear available for rent on the beach, since there is a small island called Koh Keyao Noi a short distance from the shore, which is surrounded by some beautiful reefs. Kayaking and fishing are options, as well.
Ya Nui Beach Facilities
During the high season, sun loungers and beach umbrellas are available for rent. At other times of the year, though, you’ll have to bring your own beach towel to lie down on. While there are no public toilets right on the beach, there are toilet facilities at a nearby bungalow complex that you can use.
Ya Nui Beach Restaurants
A few makeshift restaurants spring up during the high season. Other than these, your only option is to walk a bit farther to the Rawai Beach area where you will find more dining options.
